Crazy Acres Market Farm
My name is Lisa Cannon and I am the owner of Crazy Acres Market Farm. My husband Jeff and I have 6 adopted children ages 11-21. I taught animal science and horticulture at a vocational school for 5 years until Jeff and I began to foster babies for Hamilton county for 15 years. I have always wanted to own a farm and grow plants for a living. On our farm in Loveland, our children participated in 4-H raising poultry, goats and rabbits. We also had horses for many years. We bought a second farm in Goshen 8 years ago where we grow and harvest hay and grew vegetables for our family and friends.
Last year Jeff and I decided to expand the vegetable garden and start a market farm where we can grow and sell clean, nutritious food for our community. We are now gearing up for our second year in production. We have been working hard to build a hoop house, install water lines and drainage and designing this website. We have also added 60 laying hens for egg production.
